Reenacting
95th Rifles
I am an enthusiastic reenactor of the 95th Rifles, a distinguished unit that fought not only in the War of 1812 but also in the Napoleonic Wars. With a deep appreciation for the pivotal role this unit played in both conflicts, I immerse myself in the authentic portrayal of a soldier’s life during the early 19th century. I participate in various reenactments and events, where I share my knowledge about the tactics, uniforms, and experiences of the Rifles, helping to bring history to life for audiences of all ages. Through my dedication, I aim to foster a greater understanding of the significance of the War of 1812 and the Napoleonic Wars, as well as the contributions of those who served in this elite unit.
SCA
The Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) is a dynamic international organization devoted to the exploration and recreation of the arts, skills, and traditions of the Middle Ages and Renaissance. As a member, I actively participate in rapier fighting, where I hone my skills in this elegant and strategic form of combat. Additionally, I engage in heraldry, a fascinating discipline that involves the design and use of coats of arms, allowing me to contribute to the visual and historical richness of our events. I also enjoy bardic activities, sharing stories, songs, and poetry that celebrate our shared history and culture. The SCA provides a unique community where I can connect with fellow enthusiasts, learn new techniques, and immerse myself in the excitement of the past.
